“KIPP has done some amazing things to motivate, energize, and empower my daughter to be what it is that she wants to be.”
“We are happy to be part of KIPP Sunrise. They have opened their doors and we have loved everything they’ve given to us – love, care, and dedicated teachers.”
KIPP schools are free, public charter schools. There is no cost to apply to, or attend our schools.
KIPP Miami teachers are available by phone, text, or email throughout the day and into the evening so that parents can always get in touch and receive updates on their student’s progress.
Our support doesn’t end until their college graduation day. Our KIPP Forward college and career counseling team supports placing students in colleges that fit them, then supporting them through college.
School days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7:45 am – 4:00 pm, and 7:00 am through 1:30 pm on Wednesday, in addition to select Saturday school. The school year runs from August to June.
We work with parents and community leaders to ensure our schools are community schools. As part of the We Rise Education Village, students will have access to extra-curricular activities with partner organizations.
Academics are important, but we also want our students to experience the arts, sports, and interest clubs. In class and in school, we work hard, but we have a lot of fun learning.
“We are proud to have KIPP as a partner in the We Rise initiative. By focusing on the advancement of education, we have set a standard for excellence and achievement that pushes others to strive for the best—for themselves, for their children and for their neighborhoods.”
