Support KIPP Miami

The work we do at KIPP Miami would not be possible without the generous support of our communities. Whether it’s through contributions of time, funding, supplies or encouragement, our supporters are making a real difference in the lives of thousands of children.

Our supporters are simply the best, and we thank them greatly for their generosity!

While we receive public funding, our growth, our facilities, and our alumni work is generously funded by philanthropy. Approximately 90% of our work is sustainable on public funding. Their Future; Your Legacy.

Would you consider making a planned gift to KIPP Miami to create your legacy and solidify our future?

How To Set Up A Planned Gift
Bequests

This is the simplest type of planned gift and easiest to implement. You can donate a dollar amount, give a percentage of your estate or allocate specific assets in your will or trust.

A bequest allows you to support KIPP Miami and make a continued impact beyond the years of your life. A bequest can be revoked or changed if your future plans change.

Beneficiary Designations

By naming KIPP Miami as a beneficiary to your retirement assets or life insurance policy, you can avoid potential estate tax or could receive tax deductions. You can also donate part of or all of your unused retirement assets (or do an IRA rollover if you are older than 72) to benefit KIPP Miami.

You can continue to use these assets during your lifetime and save taxes on your estate at the end of your life. Beneficiary designations can easily be changed if your plans change.

Charitable Gift Annuity

Donate cash or securities to KIPP Miami and receive guaranteed fixed payments for life for up to two named beneficiaries.

Provides immediate income tax deductions, favorable tax treatment of annuity payments and potential capital gains tax advantages, all while providing income to the beneficiaries.

Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT)

Donate cash, securities, or property to help satisfy your philanthropic goals, provide an income stream for you/beneficiaries, and receive potentially significant tax savings. KIPP Miami receives the balance of the trust as the philanthropic gift.

Provides estate tax benefits and reduces capital gains taxes, while providing income for retirement or to a beneficiary.

Charitable Lead Trust (CLT)

Considered the opposite of a CRT, the CLT provides charitable gifts to KIPP Miami now, with the assets returned to you or your heirs after a fixed period of time.

Tax benefits vary but provides immediate income tax benefits and the potential to reduce or eliminate income, estate or gift taxes.
