KIPP Liberty Academy will open in August 2019 to educate fifth and sixth grade students in Miami’s Liberty City neighborhood.

Miami-Dade County School District scrambles to get it all in place by August 20 when students arrive. Most middle and high schools in South Florida already have a school resource officer, but is a huge change for elementary schools.

KIPP Sunrise Academy opens in Liberty City, Miami this month to provide the community with a new learning alternative.
